Dreamy Unicorns Privacy Policy

Overview

Dreamy Unicorns is a creative app for designing, naming, saving, and exporting unicorn characters. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the app.

Dreamy Unicorns is operated by Paddy B in Ireland. Questions or privacy requests can be sent to hi@paddyb.com.

Information stored on your device

The unicorns you create, including their names, appearance settings, and creation dates, are stored locally on your device. This information is not uploaded to Paddy B or stored on Paddy B servers.

You can delete individual unicorns from your collection. Removing the app may also remove locally stored app data, subject to your device's backup and restore settings.

Photos and generated images

Dreamy Unicorns can save a generated unicorn card to your photo library when you choose to do so. The app requests permission to add the image to your library. It does not use that permission to upload your photos or photo library to Paddy B.

You can deny or later change photo-library permission in your device settings. If permission is denied, the save-to-photos feature will not work.

Purchases and subscriptions

Dreamy Unicorns may offer optional Premium purchases or subscriptions through Apple's App Store. Apple processes payments and manages your Apple Account and payment details. Paddy B does not receive your full payment-card details.

The app uses RevenueCat to provide purchase options, validate purchases, restore purchases, and determine whether Premium features are available. RevenueCat may process:

• An automatically generated anonymous app user identifier;
• Purchase and subscription information, including product, entitlement, transaction, and receipt information;
• Technical information such as device type, operating system, app version, IP address, and approximate location inferred from IP address; and
• Information needed to operate and troubleshoot the purchase service, such as when the app or purchase service was last used.

This information is used to provide Premium access, maintain purchase history, restore purchases, prevent fraud, provide customer support, and understand purchase performance. Dreamy Unicorns does not assign the RevenueCat identifier to a name, email address, advertising identifier, or Dreamy Unicorns account, because the app does not currently provide user accounts.

Information Dreamy Unicorns does not collect

Dreamy Unicorns does not currently:

• Require or provide user accounts;
• Collect names, email addresses, postal addresses, contacts, precise location, health information, or payment-card details;
• Upload the unicorns or unicorn names stored in your collection;
• Include third-party advertising;
• Use third-party behavioural analytics; or
• Track your activity across other companies' apps or websites for advertising.

If these practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated.

Children

Dreamy Unicorns is designed to be suitable for families. The app does not knowingly ask children to provide personal contact information, create an account, or make information publicly available. Unicorn names and designs remain on the device unless a user independently chooses to export or share an image using device features.

Purchasing opportunities and subscription management are placed behind a parental gate intended for a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians should supervise children's use of the device, photo-export features, and purchases.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to Paddy B in connection with Dreamy Unicorns, contact hi@paddyb.com so the matter can be investigated and, where appropriate, the information deleted.

How information is shared

Dreamy Unicorns does not sell personal information. Information is shared only as needed with:

• Apple, to process App Store purchases, subscriptions, refunds, and purchase restoration;
• RevenueCat, to operate and support Premium purchases and entitlements; and
• Authorities or other parties when required by law, necessary to protect legal rights or safety, or needed to investigate misuse or fraud.

These providers process information under their own terms and privacy policies and may process information in countries outside your own.

Data retention and deletion

Locally saved unicorn information remains on your device until you delete it or remove the app, subject to device backups.

Apple and RevenueCat retain transaction and technical information according to their policies, contractual obligations, and legal requirements. Some purchase records may need to be kept for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal purposes.

To ask about information associated with Dreamy Unicorns or request deletion of data that Paddy B can control, email hi@paddyb.com. Because purchases use an anonymous identifier, you may be asked to provide the RevenueCat app user identifier or transaction information needed to locate the correct record. Requests will be handled subject to applicable law and any records that must be retained.

You can manage or cancel an Apple subscription from your Apple Account subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel an active subscription.

Security

Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect information. However, no device, network transmission, or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights relating to personal information, including rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing and to complain to a data-protection authority.

You may exercise applicable rights by emailing hi@paddyb.com. You can also control photo access in device settings and manage purchases or subscriptions through Apple.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app, its providers, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated in the app or through another appropriate method where required.
